Why PlotSend

Stop typing orders by hand

Working out the lot size, copying prices off the chart and filling in the MT5 order window takes half a minute, and one typo puts the stop in the wrong place. With PlotSend you draw the trade, press Send, and it's placed with the right size about a second later.

Nothing leaves your PC

No account, password or trade data goes to anyone but your broker.

About a second

No cloud hop. Panel to MT5 runs on your own machine.

Free TradingView works

It reads the chart, so no alerts, webhooks or paid plan.

Kill switch, always

Flatten everything in two clicks, even without a licence.

What it handles for you

The fiddly parts, done the same way every time

Lot size from your risk

Type $100 and the EA asks MT5 what one lot loses between your entry and stop, then rounds down to the lot step. Or size in futures contracts, or in exact lots.

See it before you send

The panel shows what MT5 will place: symbol, lots, real dollar risk and the prices on MT5, with the levels drawn on your chart.

Futures chart, CFD account

Chart NQ1! and trade USTEC. Entry, stop and target move by the live price gap, so your stop distance and RR stay as drawn.

Market, limit or stop

On Auto it's a limit for a pullback and a stop order for a breakout. Or go in at market now, with or without SL and TP.

Breakeven, partials, trailing

Per trade, in R: stop to entry at 1R, half off at 1R, trail the rest. Add or change the plan on a running trade with one click.

Stale orders clean up

If price hits your target or stop before a pending entry fills, the entry is cancelled. No surprise fills on a finished setup.

Built for prop-firm rules

Stay inside your daily limit

  • A risk meter for todayToday's losses, every open trade's risk (manual ones too) and the trade you're about to send, against your daily limit.
  • It asks before you go overA trade that would break your limit needs a second click, so it's a choice, not an accident.
  • Safe by designA double click can't double a position, nothing fires late after a freeze, and the kill switch flattens everything in two clicks.

Symbol mapping

Your broker's names, found automatically

Every broker names its markets differently. PlotSend knows the names for indices, metals, energy, crypto and every forex pair, endings like Cash# or .raw included. Nothing to set up.

Cash before contractsIf your broker has both US100Cash and a dated US100-DEC26, PlotSend takes the cash one, so nothing expires under you.
Never the wrong marketA name only counts if it really is that market: ES won't pick a stock called Essity or the Spain 35 index. If the price is way off, the order is refused.
Add your own in one lineBroker uses a name that isn't listed? Click "Edit symbol map" in the bridge window and add it, for example NQ = NAS100.pro. It's picked up within a minute.

FAQ

Questions traders ask first

Do I need a paid TradingView plan or webhooks?

No. PlotSend reads the position tool straight off your chart, so it doesn't use alerts or webhooks. A free TradingView account works.

Which brokers does it work with?

Any broker on MetaTrader 5, as long as the account allows Expert Advisors to trade. Forex, indices, metals, oil, whatever your broker lists in MT5.

I chart NQ futures but my broker has USTEC. Does that work?

Yes, automatically. PlotSend knows the names brokers use for NQ (USTEC, US100, NAS100 and more), and the same for ES, YM, the European and Asian indices, gold, oil, crypto and every forex pair, and picks whichever your broker has. At the moment you send, it measures the gap between the two prices and moves your setup by that much. Your stop distance and RR stay what you drew.

If you chart your broker's own symbol on TradingView, the prices are used exactly as they are.

Which order types can it place?

Market, limit and stop orders, for longs and shorts. On Auto, an entry below the current price for a long goes in as a limit, and one above it goes in as a stop order, so breakouts work too. Pick Market to get in right now at the live price, sized from where you actually fill.

Stop and target are attached to every order by default. A market order can also go in without them: untick Attach SL / TP and size it in lots or contracts instead of dollar risk. The panel warns you that the risk on that trade isn't limited.

Can it move my stop to breakeven, take partials or trail my stop?

Yes, all three. Turn Manage on in the panel and type what you want for that trade: move the stop to your entry at a set R, up to three partial closes (for example 50% at 1R and 25% at 2R), and a trailing stop that starts at a set R and follows price. Leave a box empty to skip it, and the panel remembers your numbers for next time.

R is the stop distance you drew, so the numbers mean the same thing on every symbol. The preview shows the plan before you send. All three need a stop on the trade, since that's what R is measured from.

I sent a trade without management. Can I add it later?

Yes. Every pending order and open position in the panel's list has a Manage button. Type the plan and click Apply, and from then on PlotSend runs it like any other. You can change it or take it off the same way.

R stays the stop the trade went in with, and a level it has already passed acts straight away. A market order sent without a stop works too: set a stop on it in MT5 first, and R is measured from that.

How does it work out the lot size?

It asks MT5 how much one lot loses between your entry and your stop, in your account currency, then divides your risk by that and rounds down to the broker's lot step. If even the minimum lot is more than your risk, it tells you instead of placing it, unless you allow minimum lots in the settings.

Is my account login or data sent anywhere?

No. The panel, the bridge and the EA all run on your own PC and talk to each other locally. Your trades go to your broker through MT5, the same as always.

Can I use it with a prop firm?

Only if the firm allows Expert Advisors on your account. PlotSend places the trades you draw, it doesn't trade on its own, but some firms ban every EA. Check your firm's rules before you start.

What if MT5 is closed or loses connection?

The panel shows that MT5 isn't connected, and pressing Send gives you an error straight away. Nothing is saved up to fire later at a different price.

Does it work on Mac?

Not right now. MT5 and the bridge need Windows. A Windows VPS works too, as long as you chart TradingView in Chrome or Edge on that same machine.

Can it place the trade on several accounts?

Not yet. A subscription covers one MT5 account. Plans for 3 and 10 accounts are coming soon: one Send will place the trade on every MT5 account open on your PC, each sized from its own balance.

How does the licence key work?

When you subscribe, you send us your MT5 account number (only the number, never your password) and get a licence for that account. Click "Add licence" in the PlotSend bridge window and paste it, once. Each renewal comes with a fresh licence that you add the same way.

A licence works on one MT5 account only and is signed so it can't be edited or copied to another account. That keeps the price fair for everyone who pays.

The panel warns you a few days before a key runs out. If it does run out, the kill switch still works, so you're never stuck in a trade.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. Without a key the EA runs in DryRun: draw your trades, press Send, and it shows exactly what it would place, with symbol, lot size, prices and risk. To try it with real orders, take the 1-week trial for $8. It's a one-off payment, nothing renews.

I changed broker or account. What now?

Send us the new account number and we'll swap your key over. One key works on one MT5 account at a time.

How do I cancel?

Cancel from the checkout page or your receipt email any time. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.

Is it safe to try on a live account?

Start on a demo account with DryRun on. It shows exactly what it would place without placing anything. Move to live once the lot sizes and prices look right to you.
